Well, in '03 Fred Hell, their old drummer, or one of them, got shot in the head during a home invasion robbery. It took a long time for him to get better and Nick wanted to move on and make the third album, which some session guy played on I believe. Then when it came time to tour Fred just wasn't up to it is how I heard it, I dunno if he was fine and Nick just kicked him to the curb or what, but from what I understood he had a really hard time drumming after getting shot in the head.

I know that i'm late on this topic, but I finally picked up this record this past week and i think it is good, but not great like Tiger Army III: Ghost Tigers Rise. It has a few good quality songs. it is definietly a continuation from the last record. I really like the song "Pain" a lot. Danny McGough (of Social Distortion!) did a really great job on the B-3 organ and I saw that Chopper Donny helped out as well... It's great to see that the Social D. Camp can help out other great bands too!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">I think that is my favorite song too. I read a review of the album where it called "Pain" a cross between Social D and Reverend Horton Heat...

Overall, I like tke album quite a bit, but there are some songs that are weaker than others, and I would put TA III just ahead of this one.
